The great thing about slow cooked pork is that you don't have to decide which way to go with the flavors. You got all day to mull over it. A simple treatment is to reserve the pot liquid, add some shoyu, liquid smoke, and salt to taste. The sauce should be very thin. Shred the pork and add the sauce. Serve with haupia.
