My current kitchen has walls, of course. It's 9' x 9', and
three of the walls have a door one of which is a wide
opening to the dining room. Most of the rest of the wall space
is taken up with cupboards or appliances.

We did manage to eke out some space by the back door, where
we hung slatwall:

We fitted it with hooks, and that's where we hang most of our pots and pans.

Although I frequently disagree with Julie, having no wall space in the
kitchen is something I can sympathize with.
