Nothing special that I can think of. Each time I use it, I rinse it
off, at least. Wash it completely when doing dish washing.
Occasionally use an old toothbrush to get into the works.

Whenever I use it, I set it out onto a dishrack to dry vs putting it
right into a drawer.
