It's already ionized and traveled though hundreds maybe thousands of feet of AIR (an insulator), so nothing you're gonna put in a little box is gonna stop it!!

Not much lightening around here although we do have occasionally now,
thanks to climate change. If there was enough to matter, everyone
would have lightening rods on our homes. Did you put one on yours?
