Fresh peas are a real treat. Some people even eat them raw. The only
problems I have with fresh peas are the price and the work. They are
always expensive. You pay a bundle for a small basket of peas that are
mostly pod. It takes 10-15 minutes to shuck a basket of peas and you get
only two small portions and a huge pile of compost material. But what
a tasty treat they are.
