Killer pancake recipe from the MIL who knows her way around a kitchen:

Sour Cream Pancakes

breakfast

2 cups sour cream
4 eggs; separate out yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 1/2 tablespoons butter; melted
1 1/2 cups flour; sifted
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt

Sift together flour, baking powder and soda and salt. Mix egg yolks
and sugar until fairly smooth. Add sour cream, then milk. Add flour,
baking soda and salt mixture. Add butter. Beat egg whites until stiff.
Add to pancake mixture, blending well with wire whisk.
