Nor was spending time in a hospital typical for the majority
of wounds for which this award was given in Viet Nam. The
Purple Heart was quite literally awarded by the thousands
during that war; if the award was "trivialized" by this, it was
not Kerry that did it.

I'm not posting this here to support either candidate; I simply
want to encourage everyone to actually review things for
themselves and draw their own opinions, and I am very tired
of this being treated as though it were actually a relevant issue
- by BOTH camps!
