But I thought that the problem with SBVT was that they were spreading lies about
Kerry's Vietnam experience, especially in regards to the validity of his
decorations. That seems to have backfired on the Bush camp. Its bad enough to
resort to a smear campaign, but when the smear is based on lies, it reflects
badly on them, not on their target. Bush and his cronies are denied a connection
with SBVT, but connections keep popping up. And the last I heard, Bush would not
go as far as to condemn them for their lies.
