That's a great price for arrowroot, although as you've been told it can be
had for less. I applaud you supporting the local food co-op.

But I can't quite figure out, why not simply use cornstarch as a thickener?
It adds no discernible taste to a gravy or sauce, thickens just as well and
you don't have to search for it as a bargain because it's already cheap.
There must be a reason you were looking for arrowroot.
