Prices vary from one place to another and one store to another. I just
put a small chicken in the oven. It was almost $8 for the bird. I would
consider it a small prices to pay for a chicken that is cooked and ready
to go. I don't see myself making a special trip to the store just to
buy one, but I most certainly have had times where we were running late
and stopped at a grocery store on the way home and picked one up.... and
it was quite tasty.
