It's not gonna kill you. But the theory is that once air gets at the
food and the can it can start to leach the metal... at least I THINK
that's it. Maybe it's just an oldwives tale... or maybe it's the fact
that it's very hard to put an airtight seal on an opened metal can, so
germs and odours can get in.
