I had posted something on my niece's FB page about thinking I should
feel sorry for her because it was too hot her to cook a turkey for her
Canadian Thanksgiving party at her house in southern California. She
wrote back that it was indeed too hot there. And this is October, the
time of year when our weather is either quite comfortable or damned chilly.

Today it is chilly. Tomorrow..... maybe snow.
