No, you are not safe. It is a bad combination.
When I broke my shoulder I was taking oxycxontin for two months. They
were really cheap with it. I saved the oxycontin for night time use. I
would take one at bed time so I could sleep on my back. It would let me
sleep for about 4 hours before it wore off and I moved and woke up in
serious pain, took another and slept another four hours. I would have a
Manhattan or two at cocktail time, long enough after the last oxy and
before the bed time dose.
