What kind of sausage? Most sausages are best cooked in a hot pan.
Just cook the sauces in a hot plan and turn them frequently until
they are nice and browned all over. You might also find cooking
directions on the sausage package.

For general cooking information, get a book called the Joy of
Cooking. This is a very good book about basic cooking concepts.
