Glass vs. aluminum
I'd give a tad more time to the glass-baked stuff.
When you say something about adding to the weight --are you carrying these to the top of a mountain? : ))
I'm not a fan of much cooking gear which is disposable, but that's a topic for another day.
I stick a piece of freezer tape and jot my name or initials on bottom of any serving pieces I want back. So far, no thefts.
