"They had some bad years"??? Donchya mean their customers had some
bad years?
My late mom's Maytag refrigerator lost a fan motor after only 7 yrs.
Our HOA is going thru Maytag "stinkomatic" commercial washers n'
dryers like bad chewing gum. While Maytag (now owned by Whirlpool)
attempted to become a World player, it closed most of its own plants
and used Amana and other acquired plants to make its lower quality
products. Still, it was the customer that payed for Maytag's
stumble.
