You probably eat salad dressing and perhaps that makes them stick to your
fork. I just know that any time I have gotten them from a salad bar, they
remained in the bottom of my container or on my plate because they wouldn't
go on or stay on the fork. And the few times I chose those as our dinner
vegetable when I was a kid, I had trouble eating them.
