Here's a heads-up for anyone that qualifies for a class action suit.
Do NOT join it. If they win, you get almost nothing but you can
recover lots of lost money if they do win and you opt out and hire
your own lawyer to sue separately.
One credit card I used years ago got caught posting payments
late...after the due date. They were increasing interest rates due to
the "late payments." Once they got busted for this and went to
class-action. The lawyers won and got most of the money that the
company had to pay out.
This heinous thing they did ended up costing me a couple of thousand
dollars in penalties and increased interest rates.
The class action suit was won and I got a check. For $0.67.
Yep...that's all. 67 cents after over 2 thousand dollars in
overcharges and increased interest rates.
