No. Another lie! There was a class action lawsuit for the old freezer
because it was sold as being energy efficient and it wasn't. I was supposed
to get yearly checks. I got one check for something like $12. AFAIK I
haven't gotten another one but since I no longer have the freezer, it's all
good. As I said... I have reorganized the garage and I moved some things
out there that had previously been in the dining room and in the way. So I
have no room for that size of freezer nor do I really need one that big and
I hated the chest design. I had actually wanted one that was smaller still
because of the cheaper price and 5 star rating. But it is not currently
available and will ship when it is. I went that route with some cat food
because the price is so much cheaper than anywhere else. I have waited over
6 months for that. And I just got a notification that one flavor has
shipped. Still waiting for the other. Not such a big deal on the cat food
since I can buy it locally. So far I like this freezer and it seems to be
the right size for our needs. Even though the chest freezer was small for a
chest freezer, it was larger than we needed and most of the time was at
least half full of ice packs from my insulin. The only reason I got that
was at the time, it was the *only* chest freezer I could find in any store.
I could not find any at the time that would ship. Things have changed
since. Less than a year after I got it, everybody and his brother started
selling them and smaller ones still. Albertsons even had a super special
where you would get free frozen food if you purchased from them. Now
whether any of those could have resided in the garage, I do not know. This
one can.

You're just not happy because I am happy! Everyone loved my chili and we
like the freezer.
