Per the website listed above - just scroll down farther to see the
following description, as quoted below:

" . . To use, simply place whole eggs into the little
grooves of the interior perforated shelf (piercing
not required), then screw on the top and cook. No
more hot water and delicate maneuvering to keep
the delicate goods intact! The plastic boiler is
high-heat tolerant and goes conveniently into the
dishwasher."

HTH. Whether or not this particular product is good or not, that's
something I'd not know never having used it. Nor have I ever used a MW
to nuke eggs, period. So, YMMV
