No. I thought I wanted to be a legal assistant. At least this is what my
guidance counselor told me that I needed to do. I ultimately wanted to work
for the BBB. But then I discovered that wasn't what I needed to work there
anyway and that the legal assistants in this area merely assisted lawyers by
looking things up for them. It wasn't a high paying job and it didn't need
any sort of degree or certificate. Plus all of the jobs were in downtown
Seattle. Same for the BBB and I didn't want to have to commute there.
