Modern grillwork is removable. Take it off, clean the glass/mirror,
put it back. There are times when a mirrored surface is necessary,
like behind a sink that faces a wall or to catch and reflect light in
a dark corner. I might change my mind if I never cooked or paid a
cleaning service to keep the kitchen spotless, but do it yourself
polishing of all those glass fronts? No thanks! I'd rather focus on
cooking than cleaning.
