For the pittance a checking acct is paying now, it's hardly worth letting the cc bl ride until the due date. IOW, what's a months interest on, say, a couple of thousand dollars? My checking account is right now paying a quarter of a percent. Ha.

I'd still rather order that payment myself, rather that take a chance on an overbilling getting paid by autopay. I assume that you do scrutinize that CC account for errors.
