Default Anybody else use the oven as a dryer for pots and pans?

My mother was a fanatic about drying and putting dishes away ASAP. I bet she wouldn't have slept if there were still dishes in a drainer in the sink. We sure had our share of wet, linen dish towels around tho. I was the kid who got to iron em, I know.

My mother never departed from the house in her life with dirty dishes or an unmade bed left behind.
