I could see it from the standpoint that red meat is hard to digest. My
friend wasn't allowed any meat or dairy for 4 days. Or anything with much
fiber in it. But she was having some unexplained bleeding so hers wasn't
just a routine procedure. She was pretty much stuck with applesauce, dry
toast, rice, crackers... She called me on the 3rd day, frantic, asking me
to look on the Internet to see if there was anything else she could eat
because she was starving.
