Both are quick breads and quick breads are very similar to cake. The
debate rages on. Quick bread baked in a cupcake pan is called a
muffin, but cake batter that's baked in a cupcake pan is called
cupcakes. Whoda thunk?

Even odder is that I can make a decent banana cake, but still fail
miserably at banana bread (which is "heavier" than banana cake).
