How to grill sausage on a stovettop?
I agree that a grilled sausage tastes far better than one simmered in
any kind of liquid. But I am not going to build a fire just to heat up
one hot dog. If I try to cook a hot dog on top of the stove, I have to
keep turning it, because its cross section is round, and I have to hold
it down straight because natural casing dogs tend to curl. Both
are annoying compared to simmering.
So what is the hot setup? I would prefer to buy a pan that could cook
a variety of sausages rather than one tailored to hotdogs.
