Recycled plastic makes much longer lasting 'lumber' for decking,
fences, outdoor furniture, etc., and needs no painting/staining or
preservative applied. My neighbor replaced all his wooden decking
this summer with recycled plastic decking, looks great... no knots, no
splitting, and warranteed to last 50 years.
