Barbie, I agree with you. It's because I grew up eating home-canned beans most of the year, from
our farm truck garden. When they were available fresh from the garden, they were different
when cooked, of course, but I still prefer them what most people would say overdone. It is
all a matter of personal taste, like all foods.
