If you are taking the time to decide in a restaurant, you are taking up time
that the waiter could be spending somewhere else. Usually when I sit down,
I already know what I want. I might have to ask questions though to make
sure that I can eat it.
If you are in the aisle of the store, you may well be in someone's way.
I'm not saying that any of these things are bad. They are normal. Just
like getting a Redbox at the machine is. You can say whatever you want. It
isn't going to change my mind. If the owner didn't want people to do this,
they would make it so they couldn't. Those people aren't doing anything
wrong and in my mind it's not rude. It's no more rude that a kid at a penny
candy counter would be in making up their mind as to what they want.
