It's a pain to count, roll, schlep to bank....

Paying with plastic eliminates the intake of change. The little I do get back from an occasional cash payment I try to use asap and keep it in circ.

I saw two women struggling with a huge jar of change at the Coinstar - they lost their grip on it, money went all over the floor causing a big uproar, and they got to pay 8% for their trouble. Yea, yeah, I know - it's the only way some folks can save.

Costs the gubmint a lot to keep making coins because of all the piggybanking.
