I know that. I would be hard pressed to find a cat who was so
absolutely adoring yet delightfully amusing as Persia.
When she was still new to me I brought home a couple of acorn squashes
and set the bag down on the kitchen floor while unloading groceries.
Naturally she had to stick her head in to see if it was something for
her. It wasn't, but she didn't know what those things were. So she
decided to give them a swat. Hey, they moved! So she batted at them.
They moved again! Next thing I knew she was sitting there battling the
acorn squash. Goofy little girl.
