Thank you. It will take a while.

The sweet little girl gave us a scare on the 700 mile drive from west
Tennessee to South Carolina. I thought we'd lost her in a hotel. She
managed to squeeze herself behind the nightstand and the wall, a tiny
furry grey ball. We couldn't see her! John and I thought for sure a
maid had left the door open when we went out to dinner. We had everyone
in the place looking for her. Nope, she was there the entire time.
Sneaky little wench.

She got her payback when we were just outside Savannah, Georgia. I
called my mom to say we'd be there in about an hour. She asked us to
pick up a rotisserie chicken for dinner. There is a Sam's Club (similar
to Costco, I guess) near the airport. John has a membership so he went
in and got the chicken. Persia had to endure the last hour of the trip
(she had refused to eat the entire trip) with the smell of freshly
rotisseried chicken wafting at her in the back seat next to her carrier.
Heheh.
