Sigh. I tried to offer an oblique apology, and Nancy jumped
all over me. If she was _not_ offended, then her initial
response seems to have been a bit otiose; why take offense
on the part of some (unspecified) other? I am not trying to
pick fights, but if she is determined to find me offensive,
then so be it -- I am not going to turn myself into a prissy
twit just to satisfy her.
