What is it that you don't get? Is it the use of munged address or the
perceived objection to them. I don't have a problem with people munging
their email addresses to avoid unsolicited mail, especially the bulk
crap. However, it is common practice for spammers and trolls to do it,
so when you I see munged addresses with other troll factors the address
issue us just one more reason to be suspect.
