I have a pair of Bourbon Red turkeys that are pets, and a "rescued"
broad breasted white hen that is also a pet...

I still eat turkey for Thanksgiving tho', just not my pet ones...

The hens are some of the sweetest, tamest, gentlest and friendly birds
in my henyard! The Tom is standoffish, but not mean. He's just plain
gorgeous when he struts!

Oh, you said "wild" turkeys... Tough critters. I'd rather have store bought.
