Yes. I have also seen the Grateful Dead cover Werwolves (in
Bloomington/Normal Illinois (at the ISU's Horton Field House for those
as collects Dead tapes)). It may have been Halloween -- Bobby Weir was
wearing a werewolf mask. The Flying Burrito Brothers released a cover
of Wild Horses before the Stones' version came out, and Gram Parsons,
their front man, was imfluential in arranging Honky Tonk Women as
Country Honk.
