Sure, but it is nice to go a bit overboard for your sweetie once in a
while.

She made me her favorite cake (she made mine last Sunday) and I made
her dinner with a couple of extra touches.

We did not exchange cards or buy overpriced flowers, but I did buy her
a big chocolate covered strawberry from the bakery when I was there.
