Really? I was a bartender in 84 and we served wine by the glass. We had
two house wines: red and white. We had gallon jugs of Carlo Rossi to draw
from. I ate in a lot of restaurants in the 80s and by the glass was always
how I rolled. Or by the carafe. For an average meal house wine for me is
just fine. I hate paying 30 bucks for wine I can buy for 10 in a store.
