Nope, the recipe to which I'm referring was titled "economy beef
stroganoff" by whoever published it. As I said, I don't remember where
I found it. It very well could have been from one of the many community
cookbooks I've been collecting for years. All of those books are still
packed away due to no kitchen counter space to spare for them.

Whether or not you like the recipe and its ingredients it was/is a dish
that both my husband and son loved and devour(ed). I've never suggested
that you or anyone else try this version of stroganoff. I'm sure the
canned soup would have most everyone here gagging.
