Our previous refrigerator had to fit in a 27 inch wide space. It was
taller and had a little more depth. Unfortunately, the extra depth
caused a conflict with our dishwasher door. Oops. When we remodeled the
kitchen, I just extended everything out by 7 inches which made
everything fit. That was pretty goofy.
