The fridge delivery guys whouldn't attempt to remove glass slider
doors... that's a big job, they'd need to disassemble the frame, and
that requires special tools. And glass slider doors can weigh
minimally 300 pounds... the mec hanics that came to work on mine
arrived with a special wheeled hydraulic crane and lifted the door out
of it's track with suction cups that would put F cups to shame.

Does your friend live in a travel trailer? The typical house front
door opening is 36"... slider openings are typically 34". But never
the less it's rare to find a fridge with a depth greater than 28" with
it's door removed, and it's very easy to remove a fridge door.
