I think a comparison would be more objective if you compared like
manufacturers. Their 16 cu ft single door model is $600+ / it has 3
vegetable bins plus a shallow "pizza" drawer that spans the width.
Too bad they don't come in a larger capacity with a bottom freezer.

I know which side of the refrigerator whatever I'm looking for is
stored on, so it would be nice not to lose so much refrigerated air
every time I open the door, so I was happy when I found out LG finally
came out with a 30 inch 3 door model.

Fortunately, the floor model I looked at was situated in a way that
the neighboring floor model jutted out slightly. That was when I
finally realized a french door configuration wouldn't work for me
because my refrigerator is set into a wall and a counter obstructs one
side where door should be swinging wide open.
