My propane gas stove brings 6 quarts of water to the boil in 8
minutes, and it's just an ordinary GE stove with an ordinary
Revereware pot... I know how long it takes because I do this all the
time with that pot filled 3/4 for pasta... I put the lid on and set
the timer for 8 minutes while I go do something else.
