Happy with our OTR over gas stove. Counter space is great. Microwave is
mostly for heating up butter and frozen veggies.

Current code in our part of Canada was that the OTR Microwave/Hood fan
should be on a separate 15 amp circuit and oddly enuf an electrical
inspector actually picked our renovation to come look at(he was
inspecting electrician's work) and noted that was the case.

I suggest you spend a bit of money and get a model that has multiple
hood fan speeds.
