Default dinner tonight 7-23-13

A little good a little bad.

I had planned on making this recipe
Crispy Chicken Thighs with Cauliflower and Cilantro
http://www.realsimple.com/food-recip...17/page44.html
because I thought I had some cauliflower florets in the refrigerator
(I knew I had cilantro and chicken), but it turned out hubby had eaten
up the cauliflower.

Plan 2
I sauteed up the chicken and served it with a green salad... but I
also

I tried two (new to me) Trader Joe's product
1. TJ's Harvest Grains Blend
2. TJ's Indian Fare (Madras Lentil)

Results

1. I cooked the Harvest Blend mix in chicken broth (vegetable broth
would have worked too) and loved the result.

2. The Indian Fare was easy enough, but extremely disappointing in
taste. It was at the edge of being overly salty and the other
dominate flavor besides salt was a commercial "chili" flavor that
reminded me of canned chili. I can get over the salty part, but that
canned "chili" flavor was a real turn off.

It reminded me (once again) about why I don't buy premade products
very often.
