Just how dumb can the news media be when the San Francisco TV station
listed the names of the pilots of the crashed aircraft.

San Francisco's KTVU Channel 2 news incorrectly named the crew of the
doomed Boeing 777, which crashed killing three people, as Sum Ting
Wong, Wi Tu Lo, Ho Lee Fuk and Bang Ding Ow


Didn't anyone look at the copy? No one thought it was a joke? The
talking head just read the names as if they were real. Another person
had to actually type the names to appear on the screen too.

I can understand the joke when we were in junior high about Won Hung
Lo, but this takes it to a much higher level of dumbness.
