Really? Are you sure it is not just illegal to call it rosé, or to
call it a quality wine or some such?

I know of at least one other producer (not a million miles from where
I live - Cambridge UK) where a "pink" wine is produced in this
fashion, and the process of mixing red and white wine was described to
me with apparent pride.
