Dried watermelon seeds (probably brined, they were salty) were a real
treat when I lived in Thailand. I'd buy them from a street vendor. The
only ones I was able to find in the US (we're talking many years ago)
hadn't been rinsed and they weren't salted. They tasted sweet. Not
what I was looking for.
I'm probably one of the few people who dislikes the taste of watermelon.
