4 years ago my dad passed away on Father's Day. Esophageal cancer. My
best memory is that at least we all got to see him that day, but it was
a real shock when he died later that night.

Mom and me went to the cemetery today, though she had a really hard time
being there even if it was her idea. I told her we'd go out to dinner
afterward and we went to Red Lobster. Dad always liked going there for
a cheap quick dinner out. I got the Seafood Trio which had shrimp
Alfredo and that was what Dad always got when they went. I ate it in
his memory. What a huge plate of food and I have at least one more meal
out of the leftovers.
